Standard First Aid including CPR-C AED Certification

Standard First Air with CPR & AED - Meets CSA  Standard Z1210-17 Intermediate


This 8 hour first aid program includes CPR level C skills and certification.

Simple First Aid & CPR techniques are taught in an interactive environment, for individuals who want an overview of First Aid & CPR for the workplace or home. The course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for Adults, CPR Level C, AED, and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission.

Content: The following items are covered in this Emergency First Aid including CPR/AED Certification class:

  • Introduction

  • The Red Cross

  • Preparing to Respond

  • The EMS System

  • Check, Call, Care

  • Airway Emergencies

  • Breathing & Circulation Emergencies

  • First Aid for Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest

  • Wound Care

  • Head and Spine Injuries

  • Bone, Muscle and Joint Injuries

  • Sudden Medical Emergencies

  • Enviromental Emergencies

  • Opioid poisoning awareness information

  • Also includes any other content required by specific legislation

Note this is a BLENDED course. The first portion is taken online throught the Canadian Red Cross and the second is a one day inperson training.  The online portion must be completed before taking the in person.

Restricted Firearms Safety Course

This 5-hour course focuses on the safe handling, operating and storage of restricted firearms. The successful completion of the course is required to optain a Possession and Acquisition License (PAL), which is required to have a firearm registered in your name.

The Non-Restricted Course must be completed prior to taking this course. If it has been more than 7 days since taking the Non-Restricted Course the refresher course is required.

Must be over 18 to take this course.
